Complete Private GP Service for all the Family

I see private practice as an adjunct to NHS practice. It is my strong advice that anyone seeing a private GP should still maintain their NHS registration. As a recently retired GP I know most of the local surgeries and would wish to continue with good relationships with them. I would propose to inform your GP of any changes in treatment I suggest, so that their records are kept up-to-date. This obviously would only be done with your express consent. Likewise, I have to rely upon the accuracy of your memory for medical events and treatments, so the more information you can bring me the better.

I aim to offer a complete Private GP service, providing all the services you would expect to find at a GP Practice. I am dedicated to using my expertise to provide you with the best advice, treatment, and care. With longer consultations than NHS GPs usually provide, I can discuss your concerns, and ongoing care, at a pace you feel comfortable with.

Investigations

Many tests can be carried out on site to aid rapid diagnosis and treatment.

• A full range of blood tests
• Urine tests, including pregnancy testing
• Rapid access to private XRays, Ultrasound, MRI and CT scans.

The test samples are processed by The Doctors Laboratory (TDL), collected from the practice. TDL was established in 1987 and is the largest independent provider of clinical laboratory diagnostic services in the UK. It is known for its high level of service and rapid turnaround of results. Many results are available within 24 hours.
